LED CTRL is a fully featured control system for LED lighting. Our goal is to enable all stages of the lighting project life cycle from early concept presentations through to commissioning and programming. We love to Pitch, Deliver and Create.
PITCH - Prepare stunning visuals and communicate concepts to clients effectively without needing to be an expert at lighting control. No license required.
DELIVER - Commission complex installations with tools that have been developed specifically for architectural DMX lighting. We know what makes these projects hard and we provide the tools to simplify the process and eliminate common problems.
CREATE - Let you creativity run wild with new ways to generate awe inspiring effects using a diverse set of programming options. From Direct Control, Direct FX, media mapping, media generation and more.
LED CTRL is available as a software package for PC, Mac and Linux. LED CTRL software natively outputs either Artnet or sACN.LED CTRL can be used with our dedicated hardware or with other hardware controllers to drive DMX or SPI fixtures.
The software is common to all platforms, however there are small visual differences. LED CTRLs functions are described in detail in this user guide with separate sections for of the various operations that can be performed. The screen shots used in these sections of the manual are all from the Mac version.
LED CTRL can be used without a license in DEMO mode when no fixtures are actively being driven. This allows for concepts, commissioning and programming to be performed. When fixtures are to be controlled a LED CTRL USB license key is required. Contact your local LED CTRL agent for information on license keys.
Licenses are scaled as required for the project anywhere from 1 universe to 1024 universes. When LEDCTRL is started, the software reads the license from the dongle and automatically enables the channel capability that you have purchased. Multiple license keys can be plugged in at the same time to increase your available output channels.
